SAVE

This is a page for unsigned users.

What is SAVE?

This page serves as a storage space.
To be clear - there is nothing wrong like movie or large file storage servers, the recording size is limited to 1000 characters, so nothing like this can fit here.
In addition, there can be up to a thousand records in one bin (later), so you can't do anything like a public voting with that.

Why then?
Well, we found that we're missing the opportunity to save something.
For example, from a website — anyone can write an HTML form, but to try it out, you need a web-server and probably a database, and who has it?

Or I want to try to call a website link from some program and send it some data — and maybe I don't have a website and database...

What is it doing?

Nothing complicated, when you open or call a link in the form save.geometry.cz?..., the parameters of that link are taken and saved. And you can view them later.
And it doesn't matter if the call is made by any program, by any form, or if you write the link with the values directly into the address bar of the browser.

How do I access the stored data?

And will anyone reach them? And are they all in one pile?

So from the end. Data is stored in bins, each bin has its own code.
The code is part of a query to store data, but the code itself is not enough to view the contents of the bin. Only the author/owner of the bin can do that.

Do I have to write my password somewhere?

First name, surname, password, social security number... we don't need any of this. SAVE does not use any personal information.
We replace your credentials by creating a login code when you choose to use SAVE. And whenever you want to do something, you prove it with the login code (you don't have to write it anywhere, just bookmark the page or send it by mail).
And we rely on the code to be long enough to be guessed.

And those bins?

When you create your login code, you will be taken to the main page where you can see a list of all your existing bins and create new ones.
And when you click on a bin you will see its contents and also a sample of the form that can write into that bin. And when I say you, I mean you, your friends, your pupils... everyone to whom you give bin's code (as hideous as your login code).

Price, guarantees...

Price — nothing, guarantees — none. Do not store any personal data (GDPR) there, even if it is not in our power to control it.
If you like SAVE or if you miss something, write!
